Webtropolis
The Land Rover ‘Webtropolis’ ad is a simple reminder that a city can be a trap. The artwork draws parallels between the aerial view of an urban grid and a spider web. Our objective was to create a trigger for Land Rover’s spirit of adventure, by inspiring viewers to escape the city.
The map was meticulously crafted and built as vectors in illustrator over a few months to ensure the web was easily seen before 3D renderers built a city upon our spider-like grid.
