::: APOLLO & DAFNE :::
This is one of my first year project, it was about designing a collection and then realize one dress, all linked to the concept of protection and cocoon.
We decided for a dress inspired from Dafne becoming a tree to protect her self from Apollo when he was chasing her.
The project phase was a group work, we had also to use natural white fabric that we have modified to obtain a part rigid with a tree cortex texture and a part transparent with real newspaper pages incorporated in it. All done by hand, the final work was about 12 meters of fabric to made 3 dress.
