Skew [the egret's shadow]: Digital Composition 2022no.22 is a sequence of image files developed from stock photos into layers of patterned forms.  The images are composed into two thematic statements that interact and evolve into a colorful tracery design of the thematic statements arrayed against a composite background of both.  Finally, the tracery articulates into a three dimensional space within which the principal motifs of both thematic statements (woman and egret) appear together.  At all points, the layers, images and forms follow an underlying grid structure keyed to the overall format.
