In the future where fuel and water are scarce and only readily available to wealthy individuals a storage solution is needed for ease of distribution of these resources on the black market. I will designing a fuel/water storage system that comprises of 3 parts. A main body, silicon seal and a lid that incorporates an innovative function.

The chosen design is slender in form to make concealment easy. The cap has the additional feature of also being a filter. This filter allows for the purifying of low quality water and fuel. 

I first started by importing my hand drawing sketch and scaling it appropriately. I then used the revolve tool to form the canister and added threads. I also used other tools such as Indent to cut the treads into the lid and feature pattern tool tp pattern the grip grooves. 

Once each part was created I assembled and added materials and textures to each.
