AI IMAGE GENERATOR - PORTRAIT
When it came to the generating of AI Images this really intrigued me as this is only a fresh, new technology. My mentor and creative hero Matt Shrip alongside other creatives together did a visual re-imagining of the Holy Bible where they were able to recreate unique scenery and stories through AI which is mind blowing. The thing that blows my mind the most about AI is that it can create years of research design and ideas in a matter of moments where AI does it for you and create image you have never seen ever before. This concept is something I am particularly interested in doing for my second assignment by collecting images from photoshoots I’ve done and through Runway create one image that summarises the whole shoot creating an out of this world kinda image. I would love to do this for my photoshoots as it will give me a fresh perspective to my images and the way I shoot them as well. For this exercise however I just did the pre-programmed AI Generated Image where I selected certain portraits of people where it would merge from one portrait to the next where in between each image would be a completely unique person. This was fun to create and even watch the final product as it’s like seeing people you’ve never seen before. The world of Artificial Intelligence makes me very intrigued to explore more of and can see this art form taking off in the arts world as a renowned practice such as photography in the next few years.
