尋找一間店家重新設計桌椅 "栖 habitato" 是我們尋找到的店家，位在台灣台中市西區民權路217巷22號
「栖 habitato 」將是每個到訪人的「棲息之地」，有回家的放鬆，有生活的痕跡；在這裏，可以肆意歡笑，也可以抒情低吟。
它是城市裡一處可暫時歇息、感受放鬆的餐酒館，也是你我記憶中熟悉的家所。
座落在臺中西區模範街的一棟老屋，與周圍的老房舍、宿舍群，一同醞釀時光；
跳脫酒吧的現代冷調，帶入像家一般的生活痕跡，創造熟悉自在的完美距離感。

Earching for a store to redesign their chairs and tables, "栖 habitato" is the store that ended up being picked.
Situated at No. 22, Ln. 217, Minquan Rd., West Dist., Taichung City Taiwan (R.O.C.), "栖 habitato" is every visitor's "place of habitation", with the feeling of relaxation akin to coming home and snippets of a variety of lives; here, one can laugh freely while also expressing quietly.
It is a bar in the city where you can take a break and feel relaxed, at the same time harboring the duty of the familiar homes in our memories.
An old house located on Mofan Street, West District, Taichung, here we ferment in time together with the surrounding old houses and dormitories;
Escaping the cold tones of modern bars, bringing in snippets of life from home, and creating the perfect distancing that is familiar and comfortable.

Concept
隱·蔽 conceal 以『栖 habitato』的特色“輕聲細語”轉化為“悄悄話”為構想出發點，融入店內之元素歲月、棲息地與茶,利用材質與外型呈現出與『栖』相符的東西方融合設計。
The idea behind “隱·蔽 conceal" started off by transforming 栖 habitato’s “softly spoken” theme into “whispers”, combining elements from the store such as time passage, habitats, and tea. Then utilizing materials and overall design language to express something that can conform to 栖’s ideals while also forming a bridge between western and eastern cultures.
Bar stool
隱：藤編與曲線分別代表東方元素以及平衡店內直線條與冰冷調酒的感受。
隱：The rattan represents the refined lines of eastern culture, while the curvatures balance out the ice-cold senses expressed from the mixed drinks.
Bar table
蔽：材質以紅銅來體現大自然中的棲息地，以鏽蝕感來象徵歲月流逝
外型以圓弧切削與圓角分別來引導使用者乘坐角度以及前傾倚靠桌面
創造舒適又富有安全感的私有談話空間。
蔽：Using copper as the material of choice, it is to resemble the habitats of nature, while the rusting is a representation of the passing of time.
The appearance is mainly formed from a sliced arc and accented by fillets to guide the users on the proper angle to be seated and to tuck the chair closer to the table, creating a comfortable yet safe feeling environment for conversations in private.
利用角度以及傾角淺移默化的引導顧客的使用方式創造出賦予隱私性的空間，讓人們能同時享受酒吧氛圍又能增進伴行人們之間的感情。
The usage of angles and inclinations will allow for invisible guidance to the users of these seats, creating spaces akin to a private one, letting users enjoy the bar’s atmosphere while also enhancing the relationships between people.
這些設計跳脫酒吧的現代冷調 帶入像家一般的生活痕跡 創造熟悉自在的完美距離感。
These designs have escaped the coldness of modern bars, bringing in home-like trails of life, creating the perfect distancing that is familiar yet unrestrained.
