A series of photos and micrographs taken by me of the nano tech labs at Appalachian State University Department of Physics.

The cover photo is of the Focus Ion Beam Microscope. 

The reason for this lab was to explain why SEM can provide an effective tool against light microscopes at low magnifications.

The following micrographs shows it advantages with SEMS that can have on DOF, contrast,  focus and stage angle.
