Ursúa takes place in the “new world” in the XVI century, when sixteen year old Pedro de Ursúa, arrives to Perú looking for warlike adventures and fortune.
This book is part of a series by William Ospina about the conquest of the Amazon forest. The three books touch on different subjects: war, crossing and love. For each, I designed a silhouette with a collage representing the concept of the book. (El país de la canela, book II and La serpiente sin ojos, book III are coming out this fall and spring 2015).
