Philippine Mythical Gods

These are character illustrations I made of some of the Philippine Mythical Gods for a creative pitch in college. Each were chosen to represent the front-liners during the pandemic who serve as our modern-day heroes.

AKASI (ah-kah-see)

The God of Health and Sickness of the Sambal (Zambales). He is also known for being powerful and almighty.

IDIYANALE (ee-dee-yah-nah-leh)

The Goddesss of Labor and Good Deeds./ She is one of the servants of Bathala (The Creator and Supreme God) who lives in the sky.

TIGYAMA (teeg-yah-mah)

The Protector of Families. Aside from being a kind and understandong spirit, he is a deity expected to avert evil and bring luck to households.
