VTOL Heavy Gunship

Hello again!
Here i present to you a project i finished close to around 10 months ago.
It was created for the second semester and second stage of my 3D Production design project, where we were given an open brief. The brief i chose was to design and build a VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft with the purpose of gunning its way through the danger zone to drop pods of supplies and munitions down to stranded and/or pinned down soldiers.
The style i had originally aimed for was a very american-cut technology style with most of the shapes having slightly rounded-off hard edges, while also keeping a bulky and powerful form.
There was an awful lot i learned from this project, mostly small things, but they all come together in the end. Texturing was a large weakness of mine at the time, and looking back now, again, i can see better ways of doing things.
This year i have a similar brief that i'm currently working on, so head on over to the WIP section, and there'll be plenty to look at in the coming future!

Thanks for peekin'!
-Pete
