Electrique Fantastique
I got to paint a boring grey electrical box for creative agency Kongsi in the centre of Rotterdam and
make it look colorful and fun!
The design is based on drawings made in a workshop I did with children from a local elementary school about
their ideas to make the city greener. Their ideas were so fun and contained some funky looking animals, rainbows, a lot of bees and of course lots of plants and flowers! Before working on the final piece I made some drawings with Sharpie markers in my sketchbook and a little mock-up box from paper.
The final paintings on the electrical box are made with acrylics and covered with a varnish.
