Have you ever delivered a lecture where you felt that single teachable moment? In my teaching career, I have enjoyed those teachable moments with students. Teaching how to design an algorithm (sequenced visual instructions) is one of the lectures that my students enjoy most.
Is it a simple task? It depends. Some may find it harder than others. Given a task to use Legos to design a custom-built car, one might arrive at the design shown in this story. Planning the algorithm takes thought and creativity.
