Using MidJourney, an image based #AI powered tool, to create printed textiles for a 3d rendered sportswear collection. Print and pattern are great ways to keep apparel lines fresh and trendy but the process has always been time consuming when it comes to ideation and research. Below is a breakdown on using machine learning to create some print ideas for a hypothetical tennis collection which I then went a step further and mocked up #3d renders using Adobe's Substance #3d software.
The initial images created by the AI after inputing some text prompts. A balance between geometric and organic to combine a checkered like print with an animal one.
Rendering the art to visual fabric materials then applying to #3d apparel mockups for better representations of final use for the collection.
