Formulaic media: Film & Music
In a society increasingly bombarded with copious amounts of poorly produced and overly scripted forms of music and television, people seem to willingly embrace these forms of instant gratification instead of searching for higher quality media. Are we simply desensitized to formulaic entertainment or does this suggest that our society has become mental lazy. These posters my visual thesis, are intended to shed light on the lack of critical thinking in today’s entertainment and our willingness to accept pastiche media.
