The flowy, intertwining lines of this piece denote the “butterflies-in-your-stomach” feeling of being in love. There was so much visual interest in the use of line alone that I opted not to add any sort of flourishes or background.
I originally created this design just as practice for my vectoring process, but I figured people might want to buy it on Valentine’s cards so I listed it for sale on my Society 6 page.
I’m all about non-traditional colors for various holidays, but I caved and added a pink version to be more commercial … I suppose that officially makes me a sell-out. :(
