Ceramic Commissions

A 90th birthday present for my inspirational Granny.  She was born in December so I used Christmassy flowers and painted over all the signatures of her lovely guests.
A large signature platter for a wedding gift.  I masked off the centre of the plate so that nobody signed there.  The guests signed the plate in felt tip which fires away in the kiln.  I painted over all the signatures and added the central motife that was inspired by the wedding invitations.
One of my all-time favourite commissions.  Another wedding signature platter. The central motife is an impression of Lewis Castle, where the wedding took place.  The guests all signed the plate in felt tip and I painted ove the signatures.
A Christening gift for a little girl born in the Spring.
A teapot I painted after I went on Safari in Kenya.  The eles were my favourite!!
More eles because I love them.
A number 13 house plaque I was commissioned to design for a couple that love walking and camping in the mountains.  A lovely country scene to welcome guests into their new home. (Before firing).
A commission for Remembrance Day.
A little heart label I painted from a photo that I took when travelling around Europe last summer.  This one is of Venice. (Before firing).
A commission for a Grandfather who used to tell his grandchildren stories about Brian the Kangaroo, Umm the owl and Squeeky the mouse.  This was Brian, Umm and Squeeky's 18th birthday present for Cameron who is very into his rugby and photography (hence the props).
