I have been long seeing myself as a “character collector.” I used to just stop people on the streets to make their portraits. I “hunted” those whose essence was seen through their faces, whose eyes and features told stories of long and intense life. One of my favourite parts of that collection is from Istanbul, the city where my soul and heart belong. The deep love for Istanbul and its fantastic dwellers made me reimagine these portraits with Midjourney AI...
