Cheers Idiomas - English School in Southern Brazil

Logo and branding for an English School in Criciúma, Brazil. The client specifically wanted to avoid any similarities to established language schools in Brazil (especially in the use of colour). There are many English language schools in the region that have typically chosen colours based around the red, white and blue combinations (representing the United Kingdom or United States flags) - the client felt that the market was already saturated with these colours leading to little in the way of individuality or innovation. The purple and yellow combination was chosen due to it's rarity in the market and its modern, fresh feel. A modified version of Gotham Ultra was used for the lettering of the logo which was incorporated within a speech bubble that hints at tablet/phone dimensions, verbal and technological communication.
