Art promotional to crowdfunding: NerdCast RPG - Call Of Cthulhu - Episode 3
In 2020 Guilherme Dei Svald (Editor-in-Chief of Jambô Editora) and Dan Ramos (Art Director of Jambô Editora) invited me to create some promotional arts for the Nerdcast RPG - Collection Cthulhu crowdfunding campaign. This collection of books and comic books is based on the famous podcast released annually by Jovem Nerd. Its main goal was to expand the universe of podcasts and it ended up being the most successful crowdfunding in Brazil! Altogether I had the pleasure to illustrate three of the promotional arts, one for each episode. Next I’m sharing the art based on the third episode and I invite you to check the post with the previous two arts as well.
This artwork depicts the moment when the strong and imposing Don Azaghal is attacked in his own church, being weakened and alone for the first time in the narrative. The art focuses on the character's expressions to demonstrate and highlight his feelings, as you can see next.
Overall, it was a pleasure to work on this project. I'm very proud to share all the steps of it in here. Thanks for following up!
