AUTHENTIC FLAVOURS OF SATE KHAS SENAYAN

Sate Khas Senayan comes with the idea to preserve and innovate Javanese and Balinese dishes.
Preserve means that we highlights traditional food and its authentic flavors. In the restaurant, the dishes are not simply served to please one’s taste buds, but its authentic flavors are aimed to bring food lovers to walk down the memory lane to the good times their shared with family and friends.

Sate Khas Senayan serves comfort foods, such as the much love Sate Ayam (chicken satay served with peanut sauce), Ayam Goreng Kremes (fried chicken with crunchy savory bits) as well as a culturally-rich dish Nasi Kuning (yellow turmeric rice served with various side dishes) also Tahu Telur and Soto Ayam Ambengan. These dishes are cooked using traditional recipes and, of course, the best ingredients, guaranteeing the finest yet authentic tastes of Indonesian cuisine.

Although Sate Khas Senayan has been around for more than four decades, we don't stop evolving and challenging itself in serving the finest Indonesian cuisine. Sate Khas Senayan showcases the finest dishes from Java and Bali islands through Festival menu, such as Festival Bali, Festival Jawa Timur, Festival Sunda and many more. Through this Festival menu, guests can learn more about the origins of the dishes and discover the area’s traditional food.

Furthermore, Sate Khas Senayan also loves to celebrate Indonesian traditions and to encourage it through offering or seasonal celebration menu and hantaran. During festive seasons, the restaurant serves special dishes, such as the iconic Lontong Cap Gomeh (Chinese-style rice cake with various richly flavored side dishes) for Chinese New Year, Ketupat Campur (rice cake served in coconut milk gravy with various side dishes) for Ramadan and Ayam Kodok (stuffed boneless chicken) for Christmas.

In addition to the aforementioned dishes, Sate Khas Senayan also offers tumpeng (a cone-shaped serving of yellow rice accompanied by assorted side dishes). The traditional dish, which is synonymous with joyful celebrations, is usually served during special occasions.
