2002 FIFA World Cup 20th Anniversary Special Exhibition Project - KAZE PARK
2002 was the year when FIFA Korea-Japan World Cup was held.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the 2002 World Cup.
A special commemorative exhibition was held at the Soccer Fantasy Museum at Sangam World Cup Stadium in South Korea. Along with the KFA(Korea Football Association), the history of Korean soccer and the works of artists will be presented.
Various Korean artists expressed their memories as "2002 World Cup artwork." Korea first created the myth of World Cup semifinals in 2002. The Korean people remember it as a very special day!
I also prepared a new work for the exhibition.

The first artwork - "PARK JI SUNG"
"PARK JI SUNG", a Korean Soccer legend.

Short height, flat feet, Asians, etc. His growth process was never smooth. The experience, career, and energy he showed until he became a Korean legend player was tremendous.
It is no exaggeration to say that his dedication and efforts have achieved the globalization of Korean soccer. I expressed the energy he showed at the time and the hope for the future in a large artwork of 4m!
The second Artwork - "Beyond Infinite Energy"
"Beyond Infinite Energy" is the biggest digital piece of my life and took 230 hours to produce.
The main composition of this artwork is the theme of "Opening the door to the portal of the past, the soccer heroes who flew to the present." The door contains the meaning of Korea by dividing the Korean symbol animal tiger into 'Baekho/Black Tiger'.
In reality, this artwork was installed as a 4m piece to convey energy to the people of Korea, but the actual print size is 10m.

I had time to sign my work with the soccer players expressed in my artwork.
I met my idol soccer players 'Park Ji Sung' and 'Lee Young Pyo' and had an honorable memory of getting autographs and delivering artworks.
