"PRED-POSTAVKA" (Pre-setting) contains a space positioned within the gallery itself, in which there are depictions of objects, shadows that were present or were part of another place. Shadows that are displayed belonged to a specific moment or an event, and now become a memory. Their presence changes the perception of space. Shadows that trailed some objects or pictures for a moment, become painted projections of memories, and at the same time, a part of the space in which they are set.
Representing at the same time both presence and absence, objects from the past that are set in the gallery, exhibit a new meaning. Those fragments of memories and recollections become sets of archived scenes in the shape of drawings and paintings of the shadows on the wall, and start to become the place where the observers memories are projected. In the work that also has the traits of the ephemeral, I deal with marking the transience and variability of the perception of time. With the presence of shadows, the perception of time and space starts to change, and the person becomes the witness of different scenes that belonged to various times and locations, but now take place in a single space.
