BOX - NerdCast RPG - Cthulhu Collection
In 2022 I had the honor of making this huge piece of art for the NerdcastRPG's Cthulhu collection, the largest crowdfunding project in Brazil. This was certainly the biggest work of my career as an illustrator done over these 13 years, both in terms of work volume and expression.
Inspired by NerdcastRPG: CTHULHU, by Alexandre Ottoni, Deive Pazos, Leonel Caldela, Carlos Voltor, Fernando "Tucano" Russell and Thiago "Rex" de La Marca.
For this box art, the idea was to use each face of the box to represent one of the books contained inside. Scroll down and I'll explain better how everything worked and show each part in detail.

Cthulhu e Nyarlathotep
Let's start with the artwork that accompanies the top of the box. As you can see, this art is interacting with the other arts. Here, Nyarlathotep and Chutulhu are the protagonists, and their tentacles and other parts of the monsters, such as Chutullu's wings, extend to the other three faces of the box, involving the elements of the other arts, making everything much more interesting and frightening.
Os Sussurros do Caos Rastejante
Now the art that represents the events and main characters of the comic book Os Susuros do Caos Rastejante, by Fábio Yabu and illustration by Fred Rubim. Here we have represented the main characters of the franchise: Bufalo, Don Azaghal, Venkman, O'Flanagan and Faraday, along with his faithful dog Billy.
Notice how the initial composition was very different from the one chosen for the final piece. The second is more dynamic and the central tentacle helps guide the eye to all the important parts.

A Roda de Deus e O Criador da Morte
Next, let's go to the art on the face of the box that represents the events and characters present in the Romances A Roda de Deus e O Criador da Morte, written by Leonel Caldela. For this part we have two important central figures the Priest (Bufalo) and King Charlemagne.
This art contains several different cores from different times in human history, as the novel narrates through various historical periods.

O Enígma do Sol Oculto
The art on this side of the box represents the characters and events that take place in the gamebook: O Enigma do Sol Oculto, written by Karen Soarele. Here we see some of the characters present in Os Susuros do Caos Rastejante, however, younger.

The Box
Finally, I would like to show how the initial layout of the box and its joints was thought out. From this angle, it is possible to better understand how the invasion of the tentacles from the top to the other sides of the box works and its influence on each of the arts.
