In this work, I wanted to emphasize the beauty of dressing up and ritualize the action of storing our outfits to express that every person has the right to not feel shameful for dressing up whatever they want. I created a round isolated space with translucent curtains, hand stitched opals on the curtain like dripping raindrops. Inside, a spherical light is surrounded by a chandelier-like coat rack, which creates a mini stage for the hanging apparels/objects. Curtains have always been an interesting item to me, they temporarily separate spaces and create a mysterious vibe with their presence.

This series - Poetic Ghost Resting on a Crevice, is a reflection on the feminine and misty qualities that I sensed from my obsession to objects. The Series includes "Morning Dew" - a coat rack, "Button Up" - a round side table, and "Flower, Flower" - a vase design. Each includes juxtapose a typical function with a rather unfamiliar action, creating some sort of strangeness that a person could sense from an ordinary object.
