A new identity was proposed for the Cinemateca Portuguesa, together with the brand book and all communication with its style guide. Researching everything about the institution and its brand, is history, values and relevance and making a conclusive analysis allowed a coherent and appropriate brand identity, attracting a new audience, younger, dynamic and creative.

It was using these key concepts that we combined new typographies, symbols and the diffusion of the name. The separation of the name arises from the concept "teca" which means box or file.

The fusion of two different typographies merges an existing public and a historical basis of the brand and a new public and a new image. The symbols present were based on the old rolls and the light, where the concept of film is born.
