Elements of Design
1. Color - relies on light. In fact, Color is what the eyes see when the light is reflected of an object. Color refers not only to the hue but also to the value, which means the amount of white or black in the hue, and intensity or brightness. Ex. Same color scheme to the proposed/designed logo for it to be relevant. (Bright/Vibrant and Contrasting Colors)
2. Shape and Line - an element of art that refers to an area clearly set off by one or more of the other elements of art. Ex. We use submissive and aggressive shape and line just like we used in making a logo A line as an element of art is defined as the path of a moving point through space.
3. Form - is an element of art that refers to an object with three dimensions. Ex. It gives life and it levitate the object from the background.
Principle of Design
1. Asymmetrical in balance
is concerned with arranging elements so no
one part of a work overpowers, or outweighs any other part.
2. Proximity
Grouping the objects all together
3. Repetition
We used repetition in design repetition is a great way to add texture to the piece. Not only does it create an element of unity within a specific piece of artwork, but repetition can also help create texture and bring the project to life.
