Cartisane is a furniture upholsterer which wanted to extend its activities to interior design. This artisan has used our agency to guide its image towards this direction by providing a feminine and contemporary visual identity. Drawing on its knowledge, and playing on the optical effects created by different sizes and crossing threads, Murmure made ​​a set of graphic patterns from different sewing techniques. The roundness of the logo and typographic refinement combine with geometric and technically strong graphic patterns, which symbolizes the harmony between creativity and know-how.

The notion of lightness, with reference to the materials, is made by the work of threads and the use of pastel colours ; it is further stressed by the use of a peak of fluorescence, sparing but recurrent. The printing of this color, an electric blue most commonly used in web, was the main technical constraint of this project, as it is not feasible in quadrichromy and does not exist in Pantone. The solution was to create it from a mixture of fluorescent yellow pigments and quadrichromy color. (fluo yellow pigments are the only truly effective ones, unlike red and blue).
