All writing done personally in ink with a calligraphy pen
The paper of the map looked exactly like the background of this excerpt, but was tea-and-coffee-stained to give it a more ancient look.
Icons used are cut paper with ink color, pasted onto map.
Details were all hand-drawn with markers and pens.
Sketchbook front, hand-bound.
The coffee cup print was excess left after cutting the icons. The ridged print was the inside of a coffee cup sleeve.
