OVERVIEW

The Nice N Scary show is a children's television concept that aims to use creativity to help kids overcome their fears. We're seeking funds to create a pilot that we hope will lead to a televised series leading to production work for local artists.

THE SHOW SYNOPSIS

The show itself centres around Kristen, a young girl, who was always afraid of the monsters that might lurk in the dark of her room…until she met them! She discovered that the Boogeyman (Boogie) and his friends (Battina, Grandpa Gust, Keith) weren’t scary at all. In fact, they were scared of things too. Now this new group of ragtag friends helps one another to overcome their fears (the dark, storms, friends moving away, new school etc) by discovering more about these things through song, stories, laughter and fun.
Each episode will explore a fear shared by Kristen or one of her friends. It will use puppets, various styles and genres of music, comedy and creativity to entertain and assist a young audience in finding out more about the unknowns that they might be scared of.
