What is leather for myself?
The leather is especially a sensual material. It smells interesting, enjoyable and special. The suppleness of the skin creates a haptic special experience. The inner and outer skin feels different. The exclusive character gives the leather its own unique quality. The material is timelessness since leather was used centuries ago and it is still used today.
For meat, sustainability plays an increasingly important role in the leather clothing, the buyer hardly knows, where the material comes from.
Influenced by this approach I developed a conceptual campaign which shows the manufacturing process of leather in a transparent way. A label that provides information on the exact processing of the raw material depends on a purchase of the product. So the consumer can decide for himself whether he wants to buy ecological leather or regular leather.
Instead of many extras and additional design elements, convinced this backpack with a clear and timeless design language, craftsmanship and attention to detail in order to follow the modern, not the fashion. The special feature of the backpack is the minimum number of seams which simplifies production of the backpack.
