This is the first in a series of pieces that I plan tocreate as a tribute to the work of one of my favourite musicians, the legendaryJohn Martyn. I have used a few iconic elements that I would associate withalbum Tribute to John Martyn and The solid Air album
I used the green circle, hand and smokey effect in my version but wanted to bring out the organic feeling of water, earth and fire into my version. I liked the idea of it flowing out of the circle with the ash burning into the leaf at the top. I included John Martyn's own style of guitar for a more personal feel.
