Proposta vencedora do concurso de reforma do Diretório Central dos Estudantes Honestino Guimarães (DCE) da Universidade de Brasília.
A comissão julgadora era integrada por membros do Centro de Planejamento da UnB (CEPLAN), do DCE e do Instituto de Arquitetos do Brasil (IAB-DF).
Projeto feito em parceria com Laíse Frasão e sob orientação da professora arquiteta Maribel Fuentes no ano de 2012.
O conceito era dar um caráter profissional, porém não conservador e retomar a história do local e daquele que da figura que lhe dá o nome — Honestino Guimarães, perseguido durante a ditadura militar.
Os espaços foram completamente reorganizados e integrados, possibilitando luz e ventilação naturais e maior transparência às atividades dos representantes dos estudantes.

Winner proposal for the refurbishment of the Student's Representation Office Honestino Guimaraes (DCE) at the University of Brasilia.
Judges included members from the University Planning Committee (CEPLAN), the Students Representation Office (DCE), and the Brazilian Institute of Architects (IAB-DF).
Project done in partnership with colleague Laise Frasao and under supervision of Professor MSc Maribel Fuentes in the year of 2012.
The spaces were completely rearranged and integrated, allowing natural light and ventilation, and greater transparency to the activities of student representatives.

A entrada foi intencionalmente projetada para ser impactante, relembrando os tempos difíceis da ditadura militar e sua repressão na universidade e incentivando os estudantes, especialmente calouros, a pesquisarem sobre a história do DCE.
The entrance was meant to be very impacting, recalling the harsh times of the dictatorship and its repression in university, and encouraging students, especially freshmen, to search for the history of DCE.
A imagem de Honestino Guimarães foi estampada logo na entrada, relembrando aquele que dá nome ao DCE.
The image of Honestino Guimaraes was stamped at the entrance, in remembrance of the person whose name was adopted by the DCE.
Os arquivos foram concentrados em uma longa estante e separados do resto do ambiente por uma tela onde serão fixadas fotos históricas do movimento estudantil.
The files were concentrated on a long shelf and separated from the rest of the office by a net screen where historical photos of the student movement will be fixed.
A sala de reunião poderá ser separada do resto do escritório por uma cortina, garantindo maior privacidade ao ambiente.
The meeting room can be separated from the rest of the office by a curtain, ensuring greater privacy to the room.
O DCE está atualmente em reforma, seguindo este projeto.
The DCE is currently under refurbishment following this design.
