A show-package created for MTV for their new TV segment MTV Collections.
MTV Collections is a show that features music videos with a similar theme. This video is played as an intro and outro to these show segments. The brief was to reflect the collection and selection of the videos in the show.
We went for a video game inspired selection effect, with different elements rising up while switching textures to being selected for the "collection".

We went for a video game inspired selection effect, with different elements rising up while switching textures to being selected for the "collection".
To create a narrative and progression with the shots, I created a darker and moodier start that brightened up into a bolder, more graphical presentation to reveal the logo. A different lighting setup and scene was used on each shot making it easy for me to animate the position and colour of the lights. I linked it all together with some trusty match cuts.
