We were asked to come up with an innovative game idea by Young Glory judge Akira Takahashi.

In a world that is practicing free love more than ever, we wonder why there are no LGBT heroes in mainstream gaming.

Final Call: Storyline
Final Call is a first-person shooter / strategy game that tells the story of two American soldiers fighting side by side in the second world war.
In trenches, submarines, ships, beaches, forests, and deserts, these soldiers fight not only for their nation, but for the survival and their love for each other.
Final Call Gameplay: One Cannot Survive Without the Other
If your partner doesn’t survive, neither will you. You need eachother to advance through levels by solving problems, fighting, and learning together; or not at all. For example: one player needs to push an object while the other pulls, one player needs to write down code while the other deciphers it, one player needs to share the only tank of oxygen with the other while underwater, etc. Teamwork is everything in this game or it’s the Final Call.

Final Call: Promoting Acceptance
Final Call is the first game to tell the story of non-hetero love, with playable gay characters, that don’t reinforce outdated stereotypes.
Through showing how games can tell different stories, and drive social change, we want to challenge the gaming industry to take it to the next level.
So step your game up because the revolution will not be televised.

Play. Change. Evolve.
