MUSTANGS
I've had the privilege and opportunity to work with mustangs for ten years now.
They have a rare beauty and connections with nature that mystifies me. They taught me how to love and be loved quietly.
Mustangs are incredible creatures. Mustang horses are descendants of escaped, domestic Spanish horses that were brought to the Americas by Spanish explorers in the 16th century. The name is derived from the Spanish words "mestengo" and "mostrenco" — meaning "wild or masterless cattle,". They are gorgeous, intuitive and sacred.
This series is my first in a series documenting their amazing splendor.
