Soft Loft
A private apartment in Moscow.
The design of the apartment was commissioned by a young couple - a fashion designer x a fashion photographer. Both of them are a-vanguard in their artistic work and use pink color abundantly in their designs as well as in other elements of their lifestyle, so we were given the freedom to experiment with it and took the challenge.
Another layer that defined the material palette was the building itself that is a fine example of the 1950s' Moscow architecture in stalinist empire style. The building had old brick exterior walls and concrete beams supporting the prefab floor slabs, so we decided to keep them exposed and raw.
