THE STRUTS: BOX SET

The Struts are an English rock band from Derby, Derbyshire, England, and one of my all-time favorite bands. For this project I was tasked with creating a box set consisting of eight of their songs. Each song is on it’s own vinyl record (I don’t know much about vinyl but I”m told it’s pretty cool) with their own sleeve and label. The Struts are glamorous and flashy in style, but also have a punk like attitude. To represent both their style and attitude, I combined black and white photos, with more elegant and refined typography. There are also seemingly random brush strokes throughout all of the covers to show their “I don’t care” attitude and to make all the lovers feel connected.
