Sun King Farm Grooming Kit

I had the honor of leading my group in working with a local Arabian and Quarter Horse farm here in Arroyo Grande, CA to come up with a creative new product expansion idea. Shout out to Sean and Samantha, as well as Gaby, Liv, and Maddie for all the help and collaboration for this fun project. 
We were tasked to use LeanSixSigma tools to identify a new product to pitch to the SunKing team to expand their physical product sales. From the outset, the majority of their product revenue was stemming from horse sales, riding lessons, or boarding. They had experimented with brand merch and had success, but were looking for a horse related product to sell to their customers.
We came up with the idea to buy wholesale grooming products for horses that horse owners already use, and sell it at a cheaper price than online competitors. We found wholesome options that included branding as well.
Once we picked out all the products, as well as confirmed with the company on the prices, we were able to strategize our marketing strategy. Our target audience is preexisting Sun King Farm customers, so we designed a flyer to be hung up outside on the bulletin booth, as well as an Instagram post to market the product.
Lastly, we were able to provide numbers from what the guaranteed profit increase would be based on the number of products that we proposed, and we were able to get the number to a 170% increase in profit.
