This project chronicles the brief life of a Northern New England seasonal spring. Like human life, these pools are vibrant, chaotic, diverse, and magical. I found joy working among the lush ferns and carpets of moss in this secret hollow on the north side of a small granite mountain.

This work is dedicated to my brother who recently died of brain cancer. He was 60.
