This art is painted with airbrush and nitro colors (car paint) as an experiment to create an airbrushing painting on the A2-size (in fact the size is a little bit smaller: about 55x35 cm).
By applying combined airbrushing techniques as freehand and stencil with some work with ultrathin brush in details I've got the desired result and quality.
Step by step the different planes were painted, from nebula on the background inspired by famous Orion nebula till foreground objects, through various stencils I made from cardboard.
