LOGO & IDENTITY FOR IT COMPANY
Metrabit - is a Ukrainian company based in Kharkiv and working with clients all over the world. The main direction of the company is outsourcing and outstaffing. Emotions that the company seeks to evoke in customers are trust, interest and enthusiasm.
The font logo of the company is based on a combination of Lufga font - geometric sans serif font with clean and modern appearance, and Space Mono - a font that is widely used in writing code in programming.
The accent in the logo is an orange square attached to the letter "and" - a simple shape that gives the idea of something elementary as a "bit" and is also perceived as a symbol of order, confidence and stability - and these are the very qualities that are important when choosing a developer.
Researching the materials on the company's website, I noticed that on the main page there is a hint of the "Creation of Adam" scene, and I began to evolve this idea, taking the theme of art as a basis. A little later, the slogan "the art of code" was born - characterizing the attitude of the development team to writing code. Indeed, in fact, writing high-quality and efficient code is really a kind of art.
In addition to the logo, I have developed a corporate pattern to maintain the overall style. All the shapes on it fit into a square and consist of stylised code and interface elements. It can be used both contour and fill.
CORPORATE ELEMENTS
Many corporate elements contain interesting concepts that will be difficult to count without a specific knowlege, but the fact that company employees understand these "tricks" creates a certain atmosphere in the company. As a kind of secret language among friends, which makes friendship stronger: e.g a cup designed as a function "If you falling asleep - then drink coffee" and a hoodie with the ancient Greek god Zeus - it's like "We write code like gods" :)
When creating a hoodie design, a funny thing happened: while choosing a sculpture for merch, I found another one that also fit well with the style. But when I began to study the history of that sculpture, it turned out that its main meaning was that the main character was defeated in a mess with a Trojan horse. In the context of an IT company, this is not very suitable, so I replaced that sculpture with Zeus.
