This is a speculative packaging and figure design project, I created recently based around the idea of 'Blindboxes'. The company name 'Magpie' is made up and inspired by the idea that Magpies (the birds) love to collect shiny things. I felt like this was the perfect name for a Blindbox company, as Blindbox figurines are meant to be intricate, detailed, and collectable. These were great fun to make! I particularly enjoyed making the collectable cards. I would really love to produce and sell my own children's blindboxes at some point.
