We had the opportunity to create "Siempre Familia" along side our partners at Industry for Nike's Dia De Los Muertos release. We were paired with 5 Mexica artists and asked to come up with a creative way to show the 9 levels of passage before reuniting with the ancestors. We were told “ We are seeds in the soil. Living an infinite vision with the ones that came before us and those who will follow. This is not one story to tell. it´s many, it´s about all of us." We met with each of the 5 Mexica artists and co-created a vision to represent the journey to Mictlān and the 9 levels of passage. Each artist designed in a different medium so we were challenged to diversify our techniques to include 3D, 2D & cel animation which ended in a unique mixed media project.
