OBJETOS MUSICAIS
Walter Smetak was a pioneer of experimental music. He was born in Switzerland in 1913, but lived part of his life in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil. In his career, the musician and composer built about 150 acoustic instruments, which he then used in his productions. What can be seen on the cover of this album, Objetos Musicais - Homage to Walter Smetak, a tribute made by musicians influenced by Smetak, is an interpretation of the instruments that Smetak created with metal, wood, strings, among other materials.
