Lunchbox Records Public Art Proposal

The idea behind this piece was to create a public art proposal in order to draw in more customers and make the building more unique. I chose a local record store in Charlotte called Lunchbox Records. Having been to the store many times, I knew I wanted to reflect the diversity of the music within the store. I showed this by including a variety of colors and textures throughout the records, which also contrasts them from the bright blue of the building. Having to recreate and build upon an already existing structure allowed me to show what the company is about and let the audience know what they can look forward to experiencing inside the store. These are images showing the original storefront, the process in which I created the 3D model, and the final renders of it.
