During the annual memorial of the liberation of Arnhem there is an event organized to celebrate the liberation. An event where music, dance, art and video comes together. Arteffects is responsible for the video part. The video is an addition to the event and the theme. Although every year several videos are made, this one I want to highlight. 

Theo Janssen is a football legend of Arnhem. He knows the places in the city. Places where in the WWII happened things that we to this day can't even imagine that it actually happened there. Theo Janssen is on a journey to these places and tells his own story about them. Together with mentioning what happend in the past. One main thing was to add pictures of the war in this video. So I came up with this idea to photograph his scenes in a burst mode and combine it with the old footage. So it all blends together.

I was responsible for writing this together with the amazing Victor van Vloten, directing this part, photographing and editing.
