Fall 2013 Printmaking

This fall I went to the SCAD campus in Lacoste, France where I got to truly immerse myself in the printmaking studio experience. I was greatly inspired by the incredible surroundings, as well as 20th century surrealism / French photography. I was able to execute a stimulating mixture of etchings and monotypes, experimenting with abstract, figurative, and nearly nonrepresentational work. One of the themes I explored more thoroughly was the connection between the human body and landscape.
