This was a self initiated project driven purely through the desire to have a nicer platform to display my work in progress development for my University course. Our uni's own blog was a wordpress built site, which is even advanced in comparison to some uni's, but I felt like it wasn't visual enough and not custom built for readability and design, which is not the fault of the uni but did leave a void that I wanted filled.
Welcome page
It is a multi tiered site with users having their own section, where they can create projects that can have posts and tags assigned to the individual projects. An overarching project description can be added and the ability to add final images is also there.

This was all in aid of the fact that these have to be handed in with your final work into uni, so why not make them stand out as their own style and dominance.
Project page
Also, a very big fan of bringing print values into web design, so nice serif fonts rule the body while big bold type dominates the headers, which hopefully makes it more visual all round and better reading experience.
