around 2019 I didn't knew how to use Adobe XD, being honest I felt so old school when I read the "XD" my stupid head translate that into this emoji 😆 , but long story short after I watch some tutorials I loved that you can build a prototype and the animation options in the app were really cool! so I decided to give it a try and build something.
me as usual complicate things and ended up building a mini site about a small personal project of a series of illustrations of a Little Elf character that is exploring his world of fantasy.
so here's a little bit of the process and final result!

first, the illustration, I did it in procreate, so here's the time-lapse!
and this is the result! when I draw it I already knew how I was going to use it inside XD that's why in the replay you can see how I've created different planes, at the end each element is a different asset and inside XD I could animate it independently!
then was the prototype! at the beginning just wanted to do some cool transitions with the illustration, then on the go within the app started to add more stuff, a home page with menus to a gallery with descriptions and one with the tools I use to make this illustrations. so it ended up being a very complete test and demo of a project and for me an excellent practice with the plus that I can use the same knowledge in FIGMA
it's cool how in a learning process turns into something that you enjoy and like the result! hope you like it too!
