Velvet Spectrum was approached by New Balance to participate in an Artist series that aimed to take inspiration from the brands rich heritage and capture the joy of running for their Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Our approach was to create a visual style that allowed the character design and typography to work harmoniously. Building the designs up with an eclectic mix of forms and textures that communicated movement in a static moment.
